Chávez, a driving force behind the creation of the National University, its director on two occasions, and promoter of its autonomy; founding director of the National School of Higher Studies, and director of the National Preparatory School. His work as a teacher spanned over forty years during which he taught various subjects such as Geography and Mexican History, and he was the first Psychology professor in the country. Concerned about the present and future of Mexico, he dedicated his life and work to improving himself as a means to help others. |
