| Synopsis | This work explores the reception of Christian neoplatonism in the phenomenology of Jean-Luc Marion’s donation in the light of the general problem of language. It seeks to understand the ontology of excess, characteristic of neoplatonism and the phenomenology of donation, through the proposal of a possible language of saturation. This project follows the footsteps of two great milestones of Christian neoplatonism: Dionysius Areopagite and Nicholas of Cusa. |
