Synopsis It argues that audioneers are the protagonists of a very deep and misunderstood transformation that, arising in the passage from the nineteenth to the twentieth century, does not cease to renew itself. These are four “invisible” revolutions, since they do not stand out in our written and audiovisual culture: the total revolution, the mass revolution, the popular revolution and the permanent revolution of audioneuts. The radio, the phonographic, the telephone and the various platforms that surround us, our speakers and our headphones bring us discourses that surround us and in which we are immersed.
