She wrote features on bullfighting, political editorials, and had a long career as a scriptwriter for films. She published two novels, El libro vac\u00edo (1958), which won the Xavier Villaurrutia Award and was translated into French in 1963 and English in 1992, and Los a\u00f1os falsos (1982).
